Maybe you've heard about Drupal somewhere, maybe a friend told you about it, or maybe you just saw some cool website and found out it has been made with Drupal. Perhaps you just want a website that is easy for you to update and post content to yourself.

Drupal is CMS - Content Management System. It means you somehow "manage content" with it. So, what kind of content can you manage with Drupal? Any kind!

Basically, there are no limits with Drupal.

I am equipped to work on Drupal projects of almost any scale. My work covers the full life cycle of projects - from planning and design to back-end development to training and post-launch expert support. I can work with you directly as a full-service shop or can collaborate with your internal development staff or design team.

I also specialize in support, if you have a drupal site and the last time you talked to your developer he could not remember your name.... Know that there is help. See support service to learn more!

I am working out of State College PA. I can work directly with people or organizations in the Central PA region or by phone and email with people anywhere in the world.

Support Service

Drupal is a fantastic Content Management System when properly setup and deployed. It allows a user to enter the site and update content with little or no help from a developer. Sometimes your needs are greater than updating your content. Finding someone who knows Drupal and can create new templates, create a look and feel that truly reflects your goals or just adds some oomph to your site, add new areas to your site such as podcasts, blogs, announcements, or something as simple as reordering lists of items on your site.

Adding eCommerce or ADDs to a site so that it can start generating income or moving a site to a new server can be daunting for someone with little experience in Drupal development. I would be happy to work with your hosting company to make this happen.

You could also be perfectly happy with your Drupal site and would just like to learn to do these things on your own. Training sessions can be conducted at your place of business, via a quick call "how do I?" or using online tools like webMeeting. I can also teach basic html skills allowing you to make the most of the content areas on your site.

    Web Developer/Designer

Responsible for creating the look and feel of World Wide Web pages for Web sites.
Developing a graphic design that effectively communicates the ideas being promoted by the Web site.
Initial planning of a Web site, meeting with the client to discuss ideas for the layout, function and organization of the site, the types of colors or images to use (photos, illustrations, videos, etc.), and other matters concerning overall graphic design.
Writing PHP code on a professional level.
Create a design that matches the customer's ideas.
Create code that brings design and functionality to the website.

Once the basic concept is agreed upon, I collect the text documents and images that will appear on the page and convert them into a form in which they can be viewed. This requires a mastery of HTML (hypertext markup language), the computer language used to create web pages. I also have knowledge of the most current HTML extensions—programs that make it possible to add special features to web pages such as animations and interactive surveys. Because a Web site may incorporate a variety of different functions, including clickable e-mail contacts or the ability to download files to a computer, I have a mastery of FTP (file transfer protocol) and other programs that enable these functions to work.

I have an understanding of software functionality as well as graphic design skills to create successful Web pages. I am specialised in PHP and Drupal implementation. Drupal is built using the programming language PHP.

Part of the web designer's task is to create pages that can be used on any type of server (a central computer in a network that stores files and provides these files to individual computers) and viewed with any type of browser (the software that enables people to access the World Wide Web). To do this, I am an expert with issues of browser compatibility. In addition, I know computer languages such as Javascript, PHP, JQuery and others which can be used to create web pages that are compatible with a wide range of hardware and software.

I have strong verbal and visual communications skills. I listen closely to the client and create pages that reflect what the client is looking for. I am flexible because I may be called upon to change the designs. Web sites are constantly updated to remain current, I work well under the pressure of tight deadlines and changing demands.

I have training in computer graphics packages such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Flash, XML-based web applications and programming, XHTML programming, and other web development languages and technologies. I am comfortable working with a variety of operating systems such as Windows, Macintosh, and Unix. I constantly stay abreast of new developments in graphics software packages as well as those in the World Wide Web and related technologies.
